The Blue Jays announced yesterdday that pitcher Jordan Romano has been shut down once again after discomfort in his elbow while throwing.
Romano has been dealing with an elbow injury since Spring Training and cannot seem to fully recover.
Manager John Schneider told reporters that Romano will be seeing Dr. Keith Meister on Tuesday, they do not believe he has any structural damage from previous scans but as it continues to hurt they have to re-assess.
Blue Jays are shutting down Jordan Romano after he experienced elbow discomfort while throwing yesterday, said John Schneider.
He's scheduled to see Dr. Keith Meister on Tuesday. Imaging so far hasn't shown structural damage, said Schneider, so next is in person evaluation.
Hopefully Tuesday's appointment goes well and they are reassured that they are not severe problems but as it continue to be aggravated, it does not look good.
