The Blue Jays take on the Tigers tonight as they look to follow up of their 9-1 victory yesterday.
Prior to gametime, the Blue Jays decided to put Daulton Varsho at lead off while Davis Schneider takes a rest day. This comes as a big surprise to most since with Schneider out of the lineup, most would have assumed George Springer would be back at lead off.
Let's make it 3 in a row! #TOTHECORE
Since Springer has continued to struggled despite being bumped in the order, it feels like it is the right decision to put Varsho at lead off since he has been having a great season at the plate.
While Schneider is out and Springer still not getting the lead off spot, it has many wondering if he will get another chance at the #1 spot this season.
