With the Toronto Blue Jays set to play their home opener against the Seattle Mariners on April 8th, the city is making sure GO Train trips are available to fans.

Home openers always come with a ton of hype. However, they can also be a headache in large metropolitan areas with tens of thousands of people going to every game. That said, Toronto and its surrounding areas are looking to make things easier on folks. According to the Welland Tribune, numerous Go Train trips will be added to the schedule on the day of the Toronto Blue Jays' home opener against the Seattle Mariners.
Below, you can check out the schedules for different areas. The affected areas will be Lakeshore West, Lakeshore East, and the Barrie line. These extra trips will make it much easier for people to get in and out of Toronto for the big game.
"More GO Transit service in store for Toronto Blue Jays home opener on Monday, April 8"
Ahead of the Toronto Blue Jays' home opener against the Seattle Mariners, manager John Schneider has been honest about the team's lack of offense. During the team's second and third games of the season against the Rays, the Blue Jays offense went completely cold. Although, he did make sure to credit the Rays' pitchers while speaking to The Toronto Sun.
"It was tough. (The Rays) can pitch, you know, so it's tough to string some hits together. Give credit to them for making good pitches and then you move on to (Sunday)."

As it stands, the Blue Jays are 2-2 on the season. Tonight, they will be taking on the Houston Astros in the first match of a three-game series. Bowden Francis will be getting the start, and it should prove to be an interesting game. If you want to check that out, you will be able to do so as of 8:10 PM Eastern Standard Time. For Canadians, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet.
