Blue Jays have signed former Yankees left fielder
The Blue Jays announced the signing of left fielder David Beckles to a minor league contract.
Beckles was signed by the Yankees in 2021 but failed to make out past the Dominican Summer League with the organization. The 20 year old out fielder was released by the Yankees on June 15th.
Now that he has signed with the Blue Jays, they have assigned him to the DSL Blue Jays to begin his time with the organization.
While Beckles is still very young their might be some hope for him with the Blue Jays but after failing to get out of the Dominican Summer League in 3 years, it will be a hard hill to climb.
