One of the Blue Jays top prospect Orelvis Martinez finally returned from his 80 game suspension yesterday as he has his first rehab assignment in Triple-A.

Martinez had an incredible first game back going 2 for 4 at the plate with two doubles in a 9-3 win for Buffalo.
Blue Jays prospect Orelvis Martinez, serving an 80-game PED suspension, began a rehab assignment with triple-A Buffalo in a 9-3 win over Lehigh Valley, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles.

His ban expires Sept. 23. The Blue Jays will then seek winter reps for him.

While fans will not get to see Martinez with the team next season, this leaves some high hopes for 2025.
