The Toronto Blue Jays have taken the month of August by storm and the narrative is no different for rookie outfielder and third baseman Addison Barger.
Barger got his shot at the majors earlier in the season but got sent down soon after, and since being recalled, he has made the most of his opportunity proving to everyone that he is a future star in the Majors.
In the month if August he is hitting .316, slugging .605 with an elite OPS above 0.900. What even more impressive is that he has 6 home runs on the season and 3 of those have come in the last 10 games.
Addison Barger has been smoking the baseball recently!
In his last ten games for the #Bluejays Barger has a .316 AVG, a .605 SLG, and an OPS of .947 🔥
