Rob Gronkowski claims to be old college friends with fan that ripped the ball out of Mookie Betts' glove

The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers played game 4 last night and during the game outfielder Mookie Betts tracked down a foul ball and caught it right next to wall on in front of fans while a Yankees fan took it upon himself to strip him of the ball. The fan was kicked out of the game but many in New York now see him as a legend and see this moment as the turning point in the game as the Yankees went onto win 11-4.

On the Up & Adams show, Gronkowski mentioned how he went to college with the Yankees fans that ripped took the ball and claimed that he played hockey at Arizona University. Gronkowski also added that he was a die hard fan even back in those days and would be always talking about the Yankees.

Fans have been celebrating the fan since last night's game all over the internet at Barstool Sports even invited him to their headquarters in New York this afternoon to show him around and thank him for his dedication.
