The Los Angeles Dodgers are wrapping up their season as they get ready for another run in the playoffs with their loaded team.

Last night, in one of their final games of the season, first baseman Freddie Freeman was running for first base after hitting a ground ball and ended up hurting his ankle on the bag.
Freeman already took scans that came back negative and according to reports, the Dodgers are optimistic that Freeman will be able to play next Saturday when they start their National League Division series.

The Dodgers All-Star spoke to reporters after the game stating that he had never rolled an ankle before so he is not sure how bad it truly is but he also stated that the team doctors believe he will be able to play on it next week.
«It's swollen,» Freeman said. «But they're pretty optimistic that I should be able to go by Saturday in the playoffs. That's what I'm banking on. I've never rolled an ankle, so I don't know. It's pretty large right now.»

If Freeman is not able to play this will be a huge advantage for the opposing team as Freeman is a huge part of the Dodgers lineup even on the backend of his career.
Even with Freeman out, the Dodgers are still loaded with talent and whoever ends up facing them will definitely not have an easy matchup.
