For the first time in 7-years, the Houston Astros have been eliminated before the ALCS by one of the more unlikely teams, the Detroit Tigers.
Whether you love them or hate them, the Houston Astros are one of the most polarizing teams in the MLB for its involvement in cheating scandals. One thing is for certain is that they have been a Dynasty in the last decade, and the Detroit Tigers have finally put an end to their run.
The way it all went down came when the game was tied 2-2 with the bases loaded for the Tigers. Detroit Manager AJ Hinch put into Ibanez to face the talented Josh Hader. Ibañez ended up launching a double into the left field corner, clearing the bases and giving the Tigers a big lead, 5-2.
