The MLB Cy Young race is on and Paul Skenes is leading the charge
With the MLB season winding down, it is now the time to have the conversation on who will win the AL and NL MVP and Cy Young award, and as of right now there are 3 pitchers who are standing out from the crowd.
The NL Cy Young race is shaping up to be a fun one!
If you had to vote today, who's your winner?
With his dominant season, Paul Skenes is a lock to win rookie of the year but can easily snatch up the Cy Young as well. In 17 starts, Skene has solidified himself as one of the best strikeout pitchers in game.
In 104 innings pitched he has 130 K's, a WHIP of .094, an ERA of 2.16 and a record of 8-2. He may not have enough games under his belt to win, but if the voters look past that and look at the dominance all around, he easily can be named the National League pitcher of the year.
