Toronto Blue Jays Andres Gimenez is in serious trouble
The Toronto Blue Jays have been struggling really bad lately as they offense is nowhere to be found and Andres Gimenez seems to be at the center of it.
Gimenez was red hot in Spring Training and to start the season but has since cooled off quite a bit as he is a big part of the Blue Jays current problems when it comes to getting hits.
Blue Jays are having some big problems with Andres Gimenez
The Blue Jays had a great start to the season and even Gimenez was surprising everyone at the plate as he had 3 homeruns in his first 5 games of the season but has yet to hit one since.
Andrés Giménez is the first player in franchise HISTORY to hit 3 homers in his first 5 games with the team!
In the month of April,
Gimenez has been brutal at the plate as he has a .143 batting average to go along with two doubles, zero homeruns and a .398 OPS in 84 at bats during the month.

Due to this terrible month, Gimenez' batting average on the season now sits at .176 with a ..274 on base percentage and a .304 slugging percentage which is far from where he was to start the season.
Is there anyone out there in Ohio still talking about missing Andres Gimenez?
Hopefully hitting coach David Popkins can find a way to work his magic and get Gimenez back on track but the current issue is that Gimenez is not the only worry as the whole team is struggling to hit the ball.
Toronto needs to find a way to get back in the winning column before it becomes too late.
