Former Rays superstar Wander Franco has been in serious trouble since being charge for having a relationship with a minor in the Dominican Republic.
The preliminary hearing has now been postponed until September 26th since the defense said they did not receive all the relevant evidence. Dominican newspaper also broke that the minor's father has requested that the charges against Franco be dropped completely.
According to reports, the father will be pushing for the case to be dismissed at the hearing on September 26th.
Even if the case ends up being dismissed, the chances on Franco returning to baseball will not happen.
