The Blue Jays took on the Twins yesterday as Yusei Kikuchi was on the mound for Toronto, pitching another great game but walked away with a loss due to his team's inability to create offense.

Kikuchi ended up pitching a great game while only allowing 4 hits and 2 runs in 8 innings but was still let down by his teammates lack of offense once again.
Yusei Kikuchi has thrown at least 6 innings in 6 consecutive starts - matching his career-high.

まだまだ絶好調の菊池雄星!
The Blue Jays pitcher has a 2-2 record this season with a 2.72 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 2.0 BB/9 and 9.8 K/9 in 39 2/3 innings. Last night was his sixth game in a row pitching 6 or more innings clearly proving he has been pitching well lately yet sits with a 2-2 record due to his team's lack of offense.
Although there has been some games this season where the Jays offense has looked alive and well, it's inconsistency has been detrimental to the success of the team so far this season.
