The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they have two prospects in Alan Roden and Fernando Perez that were named as their MLB Pipeline Prospects of the Year.
2024 was a struggle of a year for the entire Blue Jays organization after having a tough year in the majors on top on dealing with a ton of injuries in the minor including number one prospect Ricky Tiedemann having season ending Tommy John surgery. The Blue Jays number two prospect Orelvis Martinez also missed the majority of the season due to a 80 game suspension for PEDs.
Alan Roden and Fernando Perez named Blue Jays MLB Pipeline Prospects of the Year
Despite the multiple set backs throughout the entire organization, two players that shined during the entire season in the minor leagues were outfielder Alan Roden and pitcher Fernando Perez.
Perez on the other hand spent hiss season in Single-A in Dunedin as he put up great numbers to the point where MLB.com has him listed to break into the majors in 2027.
