Former Cincinnati Reds Zack Cozart post discriminating message on social media
Cozart replied to the Reds post last night stating that he thinks it is ridiculous and that they should celebrate military heroes instead on a more regular basis which did not sit well with many fans.
This sh*t is getting ridiculous so sick of it how many months and days do we celebrate real heroes of the military?
Fans were quite to bash Cozart in his response stating that the MLB supports the troops regularly and pointed out that they disagreed with his stance on this issue.
All the time, with the anthem, military flyovers, veteran appreciation days, GBA, Memorial Day, teams asking veterans to stand for everyone to applaud, and more. But one tweet about supporting LGBTQ+ youth is too much?
The Reds held 4 Military Appreciation Nights in 2024 and offer discounts to military and first responders. Please do a little bit of research next time before throwing a fit about an organization supporting bullying against LGBTQ youth.
Regardless on the backlash, Cozart double down on his comments replying to one of the messages under his post.
