«It's tough to battle nine hitters and an umpire. I've got all the respect in the world for them, but it wasn't a great day for him behind the plate.»

Manny Gonzalez missed a total of 14 calls yesterday in which 12 went against the Blue Jays.
Umpire Manny Gonzalez missed 14 calls in the Red Sox Blue Jays game. 12 of them went against the Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays lost by 1 in 10 innings.
When an umpire misses that many calls towards one team it is hard not to point the finger at him and blame him for the loss, especially in such a close game that took extra innings to settle.
Hopefully the league looks into Gonzalez' case a little more as this is not the first time he has missed multiple calls in a game.
After seeing all of these mistakes, some fans are excited to see the ABS system implemented in the near future.
