Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Yusei Kikuchi has been off to a terrible start so far this season with the Los Angeles Angels.
The former Blue Jays pitcher was traded to the Houston Astros at last year's trade deadline then he signed a three year $63 million contract with the Angels this off-season.

Kikuchi was on the mound for the Angels last night against the Tampa Bay Rays and continued to struggled a he gave up 4 runs, 6 hits and three walks in 6 innings pitched.
Kikuchi (0-2) took the loss in Wednesday's game against Tampa Bay. He gave up four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five across six innings. -Rotowire
All four of the runs given up came from a Grand Slam from Jose Caballero in the first inning which was a tough start but he then settled done and managed to find him game.
All four of the runs Kikuchi yielded came off a Jose Caballero grand slam in the first inning. Kikuchi was able to retire 11 of the next 13 batters he faced and was able to escape the sixth frame without giving up a run after allowing two baserunners. -Rotowire
Kikuchi has been off to a very slow start to the season as he currently has a 5.00 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched on the year to go along with a 0-2 record.
For right now the Blue Jays look like they made the right move is letting go of Kikuchi as he numbers have seen quite a dip since last season.
