Toronto Blue Jays might end up getting umpire Manny Gonzalez fired

Shortly after the Toronto Blue Jays lost 4-3 in extra innings to closeout their series against the Boston Red Sox, manager John Schneider called out home plate umpire Manny Gonzalez many missed calls.
It was reported after the game, that Umpire Auditor revealed that Gonzalez missed 14 calls in the entire game in which 12 hurt the Blue Jays.

"It's tough to battle nine hitters and an umpire," he said (via Keegan Matheson of MLB.com). "I've got all the respect in the world for them, but it wasn't a great day for him behind the plate." - John Schneider
Blue Jays and baseball fans began to express their anger towards Gonzalez on the X platform as it became clear the calls were clearly missed.
Some fans were asking for the man to be fired or that was his last game. Schneider can be seen getting very agitated and angry with what he was witnessing it came out several times to dispute the calls with Gonzalez and it was to no avail.
Blue Jays head to Baltimore to close out their road trip
The Blue Jays now switch gears and head to Baltimore to take on the Orioles for a second series this season. The team was very successful against the Red Sox as they had taken three games out of four with excellent run production and great defense.

The Blue Jays are receiving great pitching from their starting rotation including Easton Lucas who had another strong start against the Red Sox as he is filling in for veteran pitcher Max Scherzer.
Game one of the series was rained out to which it was rescheduled for late July. Game 2 will be on Saturday April 12 and first pitch will be at 4:05 PM eastern.
