The Arizona Fall league has began as despite the Toronto Blue Jays having a terrible farm system ranking, their Scottsdale Scorpions are ranked 3rd out of 6 teams in the fall league.

The Blue Jays decided to send 8 prospects to the Arizona Fall League as their team the scorpions will also have Prospects from the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers. The Blue Jays decided to send Kendry Rojas, T.J. Brock, Lazaro Estrada, Ryan Jennings, and Johnathan Lavallee. As for the position players, the Jays are sending Adrian Pinto, Eddinson Paulino, and Peyton Williams this year.

The Scorpions have 12 top 30 prospects on their team which is why the receive a solid ranking with the Blue Jays top prospect in the Arizona Fall League in left handed pitcher Kendry Rojas.
Mets representatives Williams and Gilbert should be hungry for at-bats after missing much of the 2024 season with wrist and hamstring issues respectively, and 2022 fourth overall pick Johnson will attempt to end his second full season on a bright note. The Tigers duo of Top 10 prospects Thayron Liranzo and Josue Briceno adds heft to the Scorpions lineup, and there are some intriguing arms like Blue Jays southpaw Kendry Rojas and Pirates righty Khristian Curtis. -Callis

While being ranked third out of six teams is middle of the pack, this is great considering the Blue Jays farm system was ranked 24th in the MLB at the end of the season due to lack of top 100 prospects and injuries.
Hopefully some of the Blue Jays prospects will shine in Arizona as they continue to look to make a name for themselves and get closer to their dream of playing in the Majors.
