This deal involving Guerrero might be the end of Atkins' time with the Jays

Insider Jim Bowden has said that Guerrero is one of the top targets for the Yankees prior to the deadline but it looks like if a trade were to go through, it would likely be the end of Atkins in Toronto.

Guerrero has been playing incredibly and is a big part of the Blue Jays future meaning that trading him would most likely hurt the team unless the return is unbelievable.

Atkins has already made a ton of questionable moves and if a trade were to go through and it did work out well for the Jays, the Owners will have no choice but to fire Atkins.

While trading away Guerrero would upset a lot of fans, getting rid of Atkins would make them just as happy.
