The talk of the off-season has been regarding superstar free agent Juan Soto and it looks like an update regarding the Toronto Blue Jays offer has been announced.

Yesterday, MLB insider Jon Morosi announced a massive update that Soto would likely be signing his contract within the next 10 days which means the news would break halfway through the winter meetings.
The 2024 AL MVP finalist will likely make a decision on where he wants to play in the next 10 days, sources told MLB Network's Jon Morosi. The winter meetings - the site of many big free-agent splashes over the years - start next Monday. -Ruminski

Update announce regarding the Blue Jays offer to free agent Juan Soto

According to a recent report by The Score, the Toronto Blue Jays, New York Mets and Boston Red Sox have all made offers to Juan Soto that are above $600 million while the New York Yankees offer was closer to $550 million.
The Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, and Toronto Blue Jays are believed to have made offers north of $600 million to Soto, while the New York Yankees are in the $550-million range, a source told Randy Miller of NJ Advance Media. -Ruminski

While the exact number each team offered is still unknown reports suggests that no one has exceed $700 million yet which is the number that Soto is looking for but that 3 of the final 4 teams are above $600 million.
As all the initial offers have been made, all four teams are set to likely make a second offer and many MLB executives believe that the Blue Jays will be the team that makes the highest offer.
There's reportedly a widespread belief among bidders that the Blue Jays will come in with the highest offer. -Truminski

If the Blue Jays are somehow able to land Soto they will likely become front runners to win the division, especially if they are also able to land at least one solid pitcher this off-season.
