The injury bug continues to be a pain in the side for the Toronto Blue Jays.
Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Yimi Garc�a came into the game's 9th inning to secure the save in a close 7-6 game against the Cleveland Guardians.
With Guardians standing on 1st and 3rd and 2 outs, Garcia threw a fastball to Andrés Giménez and was in clear discomfort. The Jays' team doctors proceeded to evaluate him and he ended up leaving the game with an apparent elbow injury.
Yimi Garcia dealing with right elbow soreness that popped up during the game per Blue Jays manager John Schneider. "We'll see how he is tomorrow."
