Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins has made it clear that the team wants to keep Vladimir Guerrero in Toronto.
The All-Star first baseman has also mentioned that he would like to play his entire career for the Blue Jays. While this seems like both parties will surely come an an agreement since they are on the same page, recent reports says otherwise.
According to the Score, Vladimir Guerrero and the Blue Jays have discussed a contract extension but seem to be far away from closing a deal.
Vladdy and the Jays are reportedly not close on an extension.
Fans find it ridiculous that Atkins is at the helm discussing a new contract with Guerrero and doing a poor job at it while, it is not even certain he will be back next year.
