The Toronto Blue Jays fell to the Milwaukee Brewers last night in series finale, but without skipping a beat, John Schneider is receiving loads of backlash for some of the moves he made in the late innings.
Time is ticking down for Blue Jays' beleaguered bats to come alive, from Frank Zicarelli.
In the 9th inning with the bases jacked, for some reason, Schneider allows George Springer to keep the bat in his hands, and what happened? he struck out.. it was followed up by Vladdy flying out as a pinch hitter, but the question remains, why did Springer not get replaced, he is hitting below .200?
There were loads of options on the bench for someone to come in and try and keep the rally going. Yes, Guerrero Jr. flew out on his pinch hit chance, but following a strikeout when everything is going your way, takes a lot of the wind out of the sails.
Vlad should have come in earlier when there were 0 outs, but that just one man's opinion.
Some questioned John Schneider's managerial chops on a day when the skipper did not acquit himself well when every lever he pulled did not pan out.
