On this date, Toronto Blue Jays legend, Joe Carter wore a jersey that misspelled Toronto for 6 innings before anyone noticed.

30 years ago today Joe Carter played 6 innings with a jersey that spelled Torotno on its front.
On July 14th, 1994, when the Blue Jays took on the Texas Rangers, Carter was caught in a hilarious moment that is remembered every year on this day. The Jersey spelled Torotno instead of Toronto.
If you think about it, it's an easy mistake to make. Apparently, the manufacturer, Wilson, is the one who stitched Carter's jersey incorrectly.

Even though it is a harmless mistake that any manufacturer can make, it creates a funny memory that Carter still talks about to this day.
