Blue Jays Joey Votto' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Votto officially announced his retirement yesterday which was followed by all kind of legendary stories from his career.

Insider Ryan Spaeder also revealed on social media that if Votto' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Votto went 0-477 to finish out his career, he would still have a better on base percentage than hall of famer Tony Gwynn.
#Reds Joey Votto could come out of retirement and go 0-for-477 and still have a higher lifetime on-base percentage than Tony Gwynn.

This is a remarkable stats since Gwynn is known as one of the best and most reliable hitters in MLB history while also finishing his career with a .388 on base percentage. Shockingly, Votto finished his career with a .409 on base percentage.
