Report reveals how disrespectful the Mariners were in firing Scott Servais

The Mariners broke the news that they would be moving on from manager Scott Servais yesterday after 8 years due to the team current slide out of the Wild Card.
Seattle was having a great season until the most recent slide which has now pushed them 3 spots out of the final Wild Card position.
The big news today is that a report revealed that the Mariners did not even have the decency to tell Servais to his face before breaking the news which is how he actually found out, on social media.
Scott Servais learned of his firing this morning from a breaking news alert on social media, a couple hours before he was scheduled to meet with Jerry Dipoto.
After 8 years with the team, it seems like the team should have handled the situation in a much better way than announcing the news then having a meeting with him.
