Reason why Cavan Biggio was sent down and not Daniel Vogelbach

The fans are a bit heartbroken as having his 5 years of MLB service already under his belt, Biggio's time in Toronto is most likely over. The main reason they went with Vogelbach over Biggio is because as of right ow the Jays need the most productive offensive hitters on the team, and when you are going for a playoff spot, it just made sense to keep Vogelbach as he has been hotter with the lumber than Biggio as of late.

As well, obviously the move was made to get Blue Jay prospect Spencer Horwitz into the lineup, and he has a similar skill set just with a lot more upside.

Many are disappointed that Cavan will be leaving but it is for the greater good.
