The Blue Jays took on the Mariners last night and while the ended up losing 2-1, the story of the night comes from a Daulton Varsho catch in the 1st inning.
Varsho tracked down a ball he had a 5% chance of catching and ended up going full speed in the wall while still holding on to the ball.
Daulton Varsho just made one of the defensive plays of the year for the #BlueJays.
Full speed into the wall to end the inning and save two runs.
While the Blue Jays have battled with consistency issues all season long in many different aspects, one area that has been rock steady all year is Varsho's fielding which was on great display last night.
