The Toronto Blue Jays seem to be very interest in brining back one of their former player Teoscar Hernandez this winter as he is set to become a free agent after the World Series.

Hernandez has had an unbelievable year in Los Angeles as he was named an all-star and hit a career high 33 homeruns on the season which has lined him up for quite a big pay day this off-season.

According to insider Zach Pressnell, the Dodgers will be losing a few players that are rumored to be heading back to their former teams which includes Hernandez heading back to Toronto.

"(Jack) Flaherty, Hernandez and (Joe) Kelly could all be headed back to their former teams," wrote Pressnell. "The Toronto Blue Jays need an outfielder to play center field and Hernandez fits their culture, payroll and winning attitude."

The former Blue Jay would be a great fit in Toronto for the 2025 season as they are looking to bring in a solid bat after a couple of years with a lack of offense which Hernandez could provide.
Spotrac projects Hernández to sign a three-year, $71 million deal in free agency. As much as the Dodgers would like him back, they may view shortstop as a bigger need and will try to spend big on Willy Adames or another premier shortstop. -Mohammed

Fans were worried that the Blue Jays would miss out of Hernandez since if Toronto signed him that means that Ross Atkins would be admitting to making the wrong move when he traded him in 2022 but it looks like Atkins has no problem with admitting defeat.
