There has been a lot of rumors surrounding the Blue Jays lately as to who they will move since they will likely be sellers instead of buyers at this year's trade deadline.
Insider Mark Feinsand reported that the Blue Jays will likely look into dealing Justin Turner and Yusei Kikuchi as their contract expire at the end of the season. Feinsand believes the Jays could possibly get 1 to 2 prospects for each player, which would be a great return.
Veteran Kevin Kiermaier's name has also been mentioned as a player that could be traded as his contract is set to expire as well but Toronto is likely to get a lot less in return for him as he has struggled this season.
@Feinsand says the Blue Jays could be trade deadline sellers, and their top trade pieces would be Turner, Kikuchi, and Kiermaier.
If the Blue Jays do end up being sellers at this year's deadline, it means they will be aiming to build a stronger lineup for the season's to come but also means that they will be entering a partial rebuild.
Hopefully if the Blue Jays decides to move some key pieces for younger prospects, it does not mean a full rebuild as this will lead to a few more years of waiting for the fans that have already been very patient over the last few years.
