Manoah was on the MLB network a few weeks ago talking about the upcoming season and how he is recovering at a rapid pace but is still planning to only return in the last two months of the season.
"For me to be able to be someone in the community... it really means the world."
@BlueJays
RHP Alek Manoah joins #MLBTonight to discuss his rehab from Tommy John surgery and running youth baseball camps in his hometown.
Hazel Mae announced and injury update regarding Alek Manoah
Mae stated that
Manoah is still recovering from his
Tommy John surgery but it looks like he is still progressing very well and plans on pitching from the bullpen in a few weeks.
@Alek_Manoah6
continues to work hard post Tommy John surgery (June 2024).
Manoah tells me he's tentatively set to throw a bullpen in a couple weeks' time - his first since the procedure.
Pitching from the bullpen will be the first step in Manoah's process as he returns from surgery followed by a few more before he is able to take the mound again for the Blue Jays.
Despite still being out for a while, it looks like
Manoah is on the right path to returning to the game after a major surgery.
Fans are hoping that this surgery hopefully fixed some big issues for Manoah as he struggled ever since his incredible first season with the Blue Jays despite having a few great moments since then.
Hopefully fans will get to cheer him on at the end of the season if things continue to progress in the right way.
