Toronto Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins days in Toronto look to be numbered as fans are calling for him to be fired after missing out on closing a contract extension with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Guerrero met with the media to announce that he was unable to reach a contract extension agreement with the Blue Jays and that he will now focus on the season ahead and has refused to talk with the team about it until next off-season.

Since the news broke this morning, fans have flooded social media to speak about how pissed off they are with Atkins for being unable to land a superstar player who has made it clear he wants to stay in Toronto for the right money.

This is a massive blow to the #BlueJays. Ross Atkins' days are numbered.
Atkins is now in a very dangerous position as the Blue Jays have now lost their franchise player and failed numerous times to lure top free agents to Toronto proving that he is simply not the man for the job.
If or when the Blue Jays decide to finally fire Atkins, fans we be beyond happy as they have be calling for him to be fired for years now to the point where some want to even boycott the games until a change is made.
Blue Jays fans: can we just all agree to not show up to the Rogers Centre? All that money put into renos over the last couple years, increasing ticket prices, but not ensuring they are putting a competitive team on the field.
