Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr is finally starting to have fans root for him instead of boo'ing him as he continue to produce at the plate.
Guerrero began the season like many of Toronto's other stars, struggling at the plate but has since turned it around in a major way. The Jays first baseman now has a .296 batting average with .372 on base percentage and .842 OPS on the season.
I was as hard as anyone on Vladdy for the past two seasons and this stretch is exactly why. He is capable of absolute greatness. Top 5 hitter in the sport potential. Blistering singles and having a .775 OPS ain't it for him. Higher standards. Elite talent. No ceiling.
