The Los Angeles Dodgers take on the New York Mets tonight for game 1 of the National League Finals and former Toronto Blue Jay Kevin Kiermaier has officially found himself a roster spot.
Kiermaier was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the trade deadline as he was looking to get one more crack at a World Series before retiring at the end of the season and it looks like his wish might become a reality.
One of my favorite interviews from last night.
This is the way you end a great career, with THIS @Dodgers team.
Kevin Kiermaier gets put onto the Los Angeles roster for the National League Finals
The Former Blue Jays outfielder has not gotten to play so far in the playoffs as he has been left of their roster in the last round but it looks like he is finally getting a shot as it was announced that he would be on the roster. Kiermaier and pitcher Brent Honeywell has been put on the Dodgers roster for the series as shortstop Miguel Rojas and pitcher Alex Vesia has been pulled off of it.
Shortstop Miguel Rojas and LHP Alex Vesia off the Dodger roster, and replaced by OF Kevin Kiermaier and reliever Brent Honeywell.
Kiermaier will not be in the lineup for game 1 as the lineup has been announced and he is not on it but does have a chance of playing in the series.

Hopefully Kiermaier will get one last shot at a game in the playoffs before he decides to call it a career.
