The Padres were up 2-1 in the series heading into game 4 but ended up blowing their lead then losing in game 5 as they failed to score a single run in their last two games of the post season.
Even outfielder Jurickson Profar told reporters after the game that they simply got outplayed in the last two games by the Dodgers and baseball is so tight in the playoffs that you can be headed home after just a couple bad games.

Padres players turn on each other in the club house
The Padres have quite a few players on their roster with their big attitudes and to no surprise, reports announced that things got quite heated in the clubhouse after game 5 as players we pointing the finger at each other for the loss due to lack of offense.
Apparently things got pretty heated in the #Padres clubhouse after last night's dismal offensive display. A lot of finger-pointing and blame placing. Sounds absolutely toxic.
After the loss, most players were in the Padres dugout watching as the Dodgers celebrated as they were heartbroken regarding the loss however fans were quick to point out that Jurickson Profar, Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr were the only players gone.
Take a look at who is missing from Padres dugout during dodgers celebration, Machado, Tatis and Profar the 3 trouble makers that will never be winners. @Padres
Clearly the Padres have a ton of talent of their team but have a serious issue with communicating as many problems seemed apparent on the field during this series.
