The Toronto Blue Jays have been surrounded by rumors involving Bo Bichette who might end up getting traded this winter and it looks like the Atlanta Braves might be very interested.

Bichette had a very difficult season in 2024, clearly the worse one of his career thus far due to a tough time at the plate while also battling quite a few injuries which kept him out of the lineup for an extended period of time.
Since the Blue Jays have failed to achieve anything worse noting during Bichette's time in Toronto, the team seems to be exploring the idea of trading him as reports revealed they already did shopped him around last winter.
But the answer seems to be yes. The Blue Jays reportedly shopped Bichette around early last offseason, per TSN's Scott Mitchell. It was considered «exploratory.» But the Blue Jays even exploring a deal is a clear sign they're open to parting ways. -Smajovits

The Atlanta Braves seem interested in acquiring Bo Bichette

The Atlanta Braves had a tougher season than they are used to this year and it looks like they want to get an upgrade at the shortstop position as Orlando Arcia is not good enough to be a full time starter.
The Atlanta Braves are in need of an upgrade at the shortstop position. Orlando Arcia can stick around to provide depth, but the team needs a new starter in 2025. -Smajovits

While moving Bichette could be beneficial for both the Blue Jays and him, it is not certain that the Braves are willing to make the move as there is some risk involved. Bichette is coming off his worst season yet and despite proving in the past he could be a great shortstop, the multiple injuries this season could be a problem in the future, especially the calf.
Admittedly, the price for Bichette is at its lowest. He's coming off an injured-filled season that saw his production take a major drip. He finished 2024 slashing .225/.277/.322 across 81 games. It's safe to assume that the lack of production and the injuries went hand in hand. -Smajovits

While Bichette leaving Toronto is far from a guarantee since his stock is at an all-time low, there seems to be quite a few teams interested in acquiring him.
