Despite the rumours that Cody Bellinger could be joining the Blue Jays, a new report was just released that he is fully expected to re-sign with the Chicago Cubs.

Bellinger, 29, will make $27.5M next season if he does not opt out of his deal

This season with Cubs, Belly has hit .266/.330/.433 with an OPS of .764. He has 18 home runs and 69 RBI's and if he gets to 20 homers it will be the 4th time he has hit 20 in a season. He has previoukt launched 47 and 39 runs and a big part of the expectation is for him to get back to those season where he won the MVP.
