Blue Jays top 3 batters have an all-time awful performance vs the Rays
The Blue Jays took on the Rays last night in the first game of the series, losing 4-3 as the top 3 batters for the Jays managed to not get a single hit.
George Springer, Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr were the top 3 batters in the order yesterday and failed to get a single hit. Bichette and Guerrero have been hitting a lot better lately but Springer has yet to find his groove this season.
The three batters were 0 for 12 against the Rays and to top that even the fourth batter, Justin Turner, also went 0 for 4 meaning that the first 4 Blue Jay batters were 0 for 16 yesterday.
A rough night for Springer, Bo and Vladdy. 😬
The Blue Jays really need to find a way to start hitting the ball as their pitchers keep performing yet cannot get the win due to offensive struggles.
