The Toronto Blue Jays are looking to make some monster moves this off-season and it looks like they are linked to St Louis Cardinals catcher Willson Contreras.
The St Louis Cardinals are headed for a major rebuild which is why they will likely look at trading the 32 years old catcher and the Blue Jays could be a great landing spot for him as they currently only have Alejandro Kirk as a main catcher and could benefit from bringing in Contreras.
They could bolster their offense by making a trade. Josh Jacobs of FanSided listed the Blue Jays as a potential fit for Willson Contreras if the St. Louis Cardinals decide to trade him.

Contreras has battled with injuries throughout his career but have proven in the past and this season that when he is healthy, he can be a great offensive player while being a solid catcher which the Blue Jays could use right now.
But when he was healthy, he was one of St. Louis' most consistent hitters. He hit .262 with 15 home runs, 36 RBI, and an .848 OPS during the regular season. -Bishop
The Blue Jays have a ton of needs headed into the off-season and Contreras could take care of two birds with one stone since the Blue Jays need a catcher and want to bring in a solid hitter for the 2025 season as they plan on competing next year.
If the Blue Jays do not decide to go after Contreras, they definitely need to look into acquiring a catcher this off-season since their current situation will not cut it next season if they want to be a solid team.
