The Blue Jays have been very active lately off the field with multiple signings in the past few weeks and the latest addition to the organization is catcher Roberts Brooks.
Brooks was recently playing in the Florida Complex League for the Rays affiliate team but was released in March before the season began. Since then he has been playing in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball for the Staten Island Ferry Hawks.
Next stop the
@BlueJays
organization for FerryHawk, Robert Brooks!

A huge congrats to Brooks who is coming off back-to-back player of the week honors and exits the
@AtlanticLg
with an active 8-game hit streak and third overall in batting average (.354)
The 25 year-old catcher has been assigned to high A ball to play for the Vancouver Canadians.
While this signing might not mean much now, Brooks does have a lot of potential and could have a solid future in the Jays organization.
