Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah recently injured his elbow during a game a couple weeks ago and Toronto has finally announced his status.

During his first MRI, the Jays were hopeful that Manoah would only miss a few weeks but it was announced yesterday that he will undergo season ending elbow surgery.
Toronto Blue Jays starter Alek Manoah will undergo reconstructive right elbow surgery and miss the rest of the season. Hopefully everything goes great

Unfortunately that is the end of Manoah's comeback season but fans are hopeful that his surgery will go well and he will be back better than ever.
