The MLB draft begins today and the Blue Jays will be picking 20th with an obvious choice if GM Ross Atkins makes the right move.
The Blue Jays outfield is getting old which is why the team should draft Oklahoma State outfielder Carson Benge if he is still on the board come the 20th pick. Benge currently has a .363 batting average and .464 OBP with 19 RBIs this season.
Oklahoma State OF Carson Benge is someone I'd comfortably select within the first 20-25 overall picks this July. So far, he's hitting .363/.464/.600 with 8 2B, 1 3B, 3 HRs, 19 RBIs, and more BB (16) than Ks (11).
While this would be the choice that makes the most sense for the Blue Jays, fans are worried that with Ross Atkins still in charge, this draft will go poorly for Toronto.
