Blue Jays Chris Bassitt receives incredible honor from the MLB

The Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassitt is known for stepping up massively in the Toronto community and taking part in the Jays Care Foundation.
The MLB just announced this morning the nominees for the 2024 Roberto Clemente award for extraordinary character in the community which Bassitt has been nominated for.

Bassitt clearly understands what it means to be a major league player not only on the field but off it as well. He has shown that he knows kids look up to him as a role model and that he is in a position to help less fortunate people which he does every chance he gets.
