Big surprise on the mound today for the Blue Jays as they take on the A's

Toronto due to starting pitcher injuries will be sending Bowden Francis to the mound to start the game. Francis currently has a 9.00 ERA with a 2-2 record on the season. In his last performance, he pitched3 1/2 innings, giving up 4 earned runs on 5 hits in a loss to the Orioles.

While the Blue Jays do not have many options right now, this is an interesting way to go as they are looking for a win today to walk away with the series and Francis has been struggling all season long, even before his injury.
