A couple former Toronto Blue Jays have been named to the 2025 MLB Hall of Fame ballot

The MLB just announced the ballot for the 2025 Hall of Fame and former Toronto Blue Jays players Russell Martin and Troy Tulowitzki have been named to the ballot in their first year of eligibility.

Hall of Fame candidates must be named of 75% of the ballots and have played for 10 or more years in the MLB to gain election which will take player between July 25th and 28th, 2025 in Cooperstown.
Candidates must be named on 75 percent of ballots cast by selected BBWAA members with 10 or more consecutive years of MLB coverage to gain election and be part of Induction Weekend July 25-28, 2025, in Cooperstown, N.Y. -Baseball Hall

Former Toronto Blue Jays Russell Martin and Troy Tulowitzki have been named to the 2025 baseball Hall of Fame Ballot

There is 28 players that have been named to the 2025 baseball Hall of Fame ballot with 14 new candidates, two of which are former Blue Jays, catcher Russell Martin and shortstop Troy Tulowitzki.
The ballot: Bobby Abreu, Carlos Beltrán, Mark Buehrle, Carlos González, Curtis Granderson, Félix Hernández, Torii Hunter, Adam Jones, Andruw Jones, Ian Kinsler, Russell Martin, Brian McCann, Dustin Pedroia.

Andy Pettitte, Hanley Ramirez, Manny Ramirez, Fernando Rodney, Alex Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Jimmy Rollins, CC Sabathia, Ichiro Suzuki, Troy Tulowitzki, Chase Utley, Omar Vizquel, Billy Wagner, David Wright, Ben Zobrist. -Baseball Hall

Another fun fact is that current Blue Jays players Will Wagner's father Billy has also been named to the ballot.
Voters must return their ballots by December 31st and the results will be announce on January 21st, 2025 on the MLB Network.
Voters must return ballots by a Dec. 31 postmark. Votes are counted jointly by BBWAA secretary-treasurer Jack O'Connell and Ernst & Young partner Mark Moran. Results will be announced by Hall of Fame president Josh Rawitch at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, live on MLB Network. -Baseball Hall
