The Blue Jays had a busy trade deadline this year which saw many beloved players leave including Isiah Kiner-Falefa to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Toronto sent Kiner-Falefa to the Pirates in exchange for Charles McAdoo which seemed to be a small return but it looks like Ross Atkins finally knew what he was doing.
McAdoo has been on fire since the deadline with the Fisher Cats in Double-A with a .308 batting average, .927 OPS and 17 homeruns on the season. Keep in mind that McAdoo is a 13th round pick from the 2023 draft and is only 22 years old which means he will continue to improve.
Charles McAdoo is insane
Kiner-Falefa on the other hand has been struggling at the plate since arriving in Pittsburgh even though his defensive play has been pretty solid. The Blue Jays were able to acquire an incredible prospect for a 30 year old with 1 year left on his contract.
