Vladimir Guerrero Jr speaks on wanting to join the New York Yankees

The Blue Jays seem to have a very solid team heading into the 2025 season as they have been on fire so far this spring but the main topic continues to be Vladimir Guerrero Jr and his contract extension.

Guerrero has no been shy about his upcoming free agency and hiss on-going negotiations with the Blue Jays as he has openly spoken on the subject on multiple occasions.

Today Guerrero sat down for an interview in which he was asked about free agency and if he was open to speaking to every team in which he stated yes, including the Yankees.

Guerrero mentioned in the past that he would never sign with the Yankees but has since going back on those comments which is why he was sure to clear that up during the interview.

Blue Jays fans were far from thrilled about this interview since it is starting to look like Guerrero leaving Toronto is becoming more and more a possibility whereas last season everyone was sure he would never sign anywhere else than Toronto.

At this point most fans want all of this Guerrero talk to come to an end so that everyone can just focus on baseball but unfortunately that won't happen unless Guerrero signs an extension with the Blue Jays during the season.
