The Toronto Blue Jays seem all in on trying to land a big time hitter during free agency this winter and that could end up being long time rival Anthony Santander.
Santander is coming off of a career year with the Orioles where he hit a personal high of 44 homeruns which makes him one of the best free agents hitting the market this winter and will result in him getting quite the pay day.

The Orioles switch hitter is among the best hitter in free agency and should be getting quite the pay rise this off-season as many insiders project him to sign a contract worth around $150 million on a seven year term.
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander is set to become a free agent after a career year at age 28. Insider Jim Bowden of The Athletic listed the Blue Jays as a top fit for Santander, projecting the switch-hitting slugger would land a seven-year, $150.5 million contract. -Roberts
While the Blue Jays are also looking to bring in outfielder depth, Santander could fill two holes between hitting and fielding. However, the offense he would be bringing along would definitely be the main attraction after an unbelievable 2024 campaign in Baltimore.
"A lot of teams are looking for corner outfielders with power and there won't be a lot of those players available via free agency or trades," Bowden said. "This season Santander had 44 home runs, 102 RBIs and 91 runs scored, all of which were career highs. He's hit 105 homers over the past three seasons and is still only 30."
At the right price, this could be a great signing for the Blue Jays but will not be easy to pull off since he will be attracting multiple teams in free agency.
