Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider has confirmed to two players that they are officially on the Opening Day roster to start the season.

The Blue Jays are now five days away from Opening Day and are putting the finishing touches on their current roster which is why they have made so many cuts over the last couple of days.
According to MLB insider Shi Davidi, John Schneider has informed both Davis Schneider and catcher Tyler Heineman that they have made the Opening Day roster for the start of the 2025 season.
Blue Jays have told Davis Schneider and Tyler Heineman they've made the team, said John Schneider.
Daulton Varsho will also start the season on the IL.
Keegan Matheson also added that pitcher Nick Sandlin who was acquired with in the trade that brought Andres Gimenez to Toronto from Cleveland has also made the Opening Day roster.

It looks like Schneider has secured a bench role while
Heineman will be the back up catcher behind Alejandro Kirk which is not much of a suprise as most expected him to make the team since the beginning of camp.
It will be interesting to see what the Blue Jays lineup will look like on Opening Day.
